I am starting to get back into contests after taking a little break. Some of the contests just lost their fun after InSim went down into flames.

I wasn't particularly satisfied with my Bodyshot or Freeshot for Carver, so I redid them.

The freeshot is the same concept, just better, IMO. The bodyshot...I still went for the classy look, but with a different setting and outfit.

It's been a while since I've entered a contest. Hadn't felt like it in forever. I took the plunge back into the mix with my entry for the Child Star contest at Oasis. I like playing with kids, especially cute ones...so I figured...why not?

My entrant... 13 year old Carver Kade....hailing from Jacksonville, Florida



This one will probably change...I don't like it too much.

I finally played my self-sim family again. It had been a while. Then again...it's been a while since I've played anyone, really.

I'm still kind of bummed about my computer dying and losing my original self-sim family. I miss all the other kids. But, this family ain't so bad. At least I still had my original Self-Sim.

ANYWAY, there are quite a few pictures being posted, so watch out.

I figured I'd buy the family a pet, but I kind of find cats and dogs annoying sometimes....so we went with a Womrat/Hamster/Gerbil/Guinea Pig. We named him Bugsy...like off that movie.



AND, as it always happens, once the kids get a pet...it is left to the parents to do the caring. Marcus does a good job of cleaning the cage, though.



Bugsy doesn't mind, either. They've forged a friendship.



The kids all grew up. But here is a picture of the girls before they grew up. They're not twins, just born very close together.

The "huggles" is still cute to me, no matter how often I see it.



And, of course Baby Kaden...the newest addition to the family, and so far the only son. He got a crap deal on the eyebrows, lol.



He had a birthday, too...a day or two after the girls did.

Meanwhile, Dad is hacking up a storm. He had the flu, and I was actually a little afraid he'd die. But he is okay, now. He did what he had to do during his kids' birthdays.



He actually looks sick, lol.



But, he sucked it up for Mercedes.  Couldn't let her down...

You never know how kids are going to turn out, so I was very pleased when these two grew up. They're adorable, and can't help but love them to bits.

They were actually BOTH jump roping, and then all of a sudden Keaylah darts into the bathroom to brush her teeth.



I thought..."okay...interesting."  THEN, Mercedes stopped jumping rope and ran into the bathroom to brush her teeth after her sister.  I thought it very strange.

WHEW! Dang...thats kind of tedious posting all these pictures.  Now, I have to do some school work.  

I've actually had a LiveJournal account for years and years, but I never did anything with it.  I guess now is as good a time as any, eh?

Jessi was kind enough to scrounge this up for me, and after she did...I remembered I had this account.  Utilization shall now commence.

If y'all don't know me...no biggie.  I'm 22 years old.  I'm a student, although reluctantly.  I'm short.  I'm weird.  I'm silly.  I'm quiet.  And...that is about it.

I love the sims, and in lieu of the death of InSim...my updates, when they come, will be posted here along with updates that can be found at my site, or anything really.
